Tonight’s programme begins with our weekly tutorial from 7:00 sharp to 7:45pm which is on the all important topic of "Shutter Speed". Then at 8:00pm, our own club member, Vincent O’Connor, will be giving a talk on a topic that’s relevant to us all: how to make the most of our phones for photography. Don’t miss this chance to pick up practical tips on turning devices, that are at our fingertips, into creative tools. Dont forget to bring along your phone.

Galway Camera Club is thrilled to welcome James Crombie as our opening guest speaker for our 2025-2026 season.
James is one of Ireland’s most highly regarded photographers, having been named Press Photographer of the Year not once, but three times. He works with Inpho Sports Photography, where his exceptional talent for capturing powerful moments has earned him national acclaim. James is also a Canon Ambassador.

Galway Camera Club is delighted to welcome members old and new as we return from our summer break. Our new season begins with an Open Information Night on Thursday, 18th September at 8pm, where we’ll share everything you need to know about competitions, guest speakers, and what’s in store this year. It’s also a great chance for everyone to catch up, reintroduce themselves, and get to know new faces in a friendly, social setting.
